Taliban's takeover was a 'preventable disaster': Army vet | FOX News Rundown

Matt Zeller, a former CIA Analyst, U.S. Army Major who served in Afghanistan and co-founder of No One Left Behind, discusses the severe threat the Taliban poses to the citizens of Afghanistan now that militants have taken control. He also discusses the need to quickly airlift all U.S. personnel and allies out of harm's way, reports describing the violence beginning under Taliban rule, and how he plans to hold President Biden accountable for the lack of foresight that led to an international disaster.

In July, Border Patrol reported over 200, 000 migrant apprehensions at the southern border. Last week, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas met privately with Border Patrol agents in Texas and said in leaked audio that the border crisis is "unsustainable" and "if our borders are the first line of defense, we're going to lose." Meanwhile, former ​Border Patrol chief Rodney Scott warns that President Biden's mishandling of the surge of illegal immigrants has caused a national security threat because of the increase of suspected terrorists crossing into the U.S.  Former Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf and former Chief Patrol Agent Roy Villareal weigh in.
