Afghanistan's Taliban rulers have rejected Western condemnation over their summary executions of former security force members.
Western nations have called on the Taliban to enforce an amnesty for all former members of the Afghan Security Forces. The appeal follows a Human Rights Watch report that says more than 100 former officers have disappeared or been killed since the Taliban took power in August. It's alleged the Islamist group obtained the officers' names under the pretense of guaranteeing them safety.
