Rishi Sunak spoke to reporters as he arrived at the AI summit at Bletchley Park, where government representatives and business representatives are gathering.

He told broadcasters there is a risk that AI could pose a challenge "on a scale like pandemics and nuclear war", which is why "leaders have a responsibility to act".
