Summer is often the peak of air travel and with recent delays seen at airports across the country and internationally, Canadians should be prepared to plan ahead if they're planning to fly during the upcoming season.

Toronto's Pearson International Airport saw about 40 per cent of its flights delayed in March, higher than the 30 per cent delays in 2019, while New York's JFK airport had about 30 per cent delays by comparison. Global's Anne Gaviola and The Peak Daily podcast's Brett Chang discuss what travellers should expect - and why delays are still happening.

The pair then speak about short-sellers betting on TD Bank to stumble due to its exposure to risk in the real estate market, U.S. banking system, and its recent plans to acquire a U.S. regional bank.

Lastly, in recent months tech companies have seen layoffs in part due to bearing the brunt of high interest rates, but with the promise of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, some are wondering if it could lead to a revival of the industry. Gaviola and Chang discuss if this could come to fruition.
