Sudan’s military chief, Abdel-Fattah Burhan, says RSF paramilitary forces have committed war crimes and are using their insurgency against the military to gain power. Burhan made the comments in Egypt, on his first trip outside Sudan since April, when the powerful RSF rebelled and launched an insurgency. Egypt’s president is trying to broker a peace accord.
