Statistics Canada reports slight surge in employment | Canada Tonight

Statistics Canada reports that the January figures for employment were better than economists expected, but were mostly driven by an increase in part-time work. Twelve thousand full-time jobs were lost. Earl Davis, of BMO Global Asset Management, says the surge in part-time jobs is reflective of the uncertain economy.
