Crippling shortages of fuel, power, food, and medicine in Sri Lanka have triggered nearly non-stop protests for more than a month, despite a five-day state of emergency and a two-day curfew. Thousands of youngsters have gathered at Galle Face, ocean side urban parks holding placards and shouting slogans, demanding the resignation of president Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Amidst of all of this, there is not just shortage of power, but there's a medical emergency as well with pharmacies running short of supplies.
