Measles cases are on the rise around the world, and there are concerns Canada could see an outbreak.
Canada's Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam has issued a warning to Canadians about the potential for a measles outbreak during the upcoming spring travel season.
"As the numbers of cases around the world increases, there'll be increased risk of unvaccinated or under vaccinated travelers. Having contracted measles is a very contagious infection," Tam said. "I think there's already a potential risk for outbreaks to occur."
Global's Katherine Ward has the details.
