Have you fallen for fake social media posts?

Sixteen-year-old Sameer Ferdousi has, but now he’s learning how to sort fact from fiction.

He’s part of an inaugural batch of Canadian teen fact-checkers working with the media literacy group MediaSmarts. The program teaches them how to fact-check stories and creates videos to help educate peers on spotting fake posts.
