Sports betting ads dangerous for youth, says Canadian senator

Sports betting has been legal in Canada since 2021, but there are no rules around how it can be advertised. Independent Senator Marty Deacon says sports betting ads draw in young and vulnerable people, which is why she is proposing legislation to create a national framework to regulate sports betting advertising.
