Europe has been in the grips of a punishing heatwave, breaking temperature records and driving devastating wildfires from London to Lisbon.
The World Health Organization says the heatwave engulfing Spain and Portugal has killed at least 1,700 people on the Iberian Peninsula so far.
People living in affected communities say life will never be the same and are adjusting their lives to fit the changing climate.
