Parts of Newfoundland and Labrador's health system are recovering after a crippling cyberattack earlier this week cancelled thousands of medical appointment and interrupted critical procedures like chemotherapy.

Cybersecurity analysts suspect it was a ransomware attack in which hackers render computer files useless, until their victims pay a specified amount of money. Ross Lord explains why the crisis for the province's patients is not over yet and why the rest of the country should pay attention.
