Sky News wins News Channel of the Year for the fourth year in a row

Sky News has been recognised with six awards at this year's Royal Television Society Journalism awards.

The channel won News Channel of the Year as well as best Home and International coverage for its reporting of the pandemic in the UK and Europe's epicentre in Bergamo, Italy.

People and Politics Correspondent Nick Martin was named Specialist Journalist of the Year for revealing the human cost of coronavirus in care homes.

And the outstanding contribution award went to the head of Sky News John Ryley.
