Six young people from Portugal are taking 32 nations to the European Court of Human Rights to force their governments to take action against climate change.
They say 27 EU member states as well as the UK, Russia, Turkiye, Switzerland and Norway have failed to address human-caused global warming.
And they argue climate disasters and their impact are infringing on their personal rights.
