Sir Keir Starmer reacts to Joe Biden withdrawing from the US presidential race in UK skills speech

The Prime Minister is delivering a speech in Hampshire, launching a new plan to tackle the UK's "fragmented and broken" skills training system.

Skills England, which was included in Labour's manifesto, is designed to ensure training provision is aligned with the needs of the economy. It will bring together central and local government, businesses, trade unions and training providers to better understand the nation's "skills gap".
