अब देश का हर व्यक्ति हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पॉलिसी ख़रीद सकता है, फिर चाहे वो किसी भी उम्र का क्यों ना हो। IRDAI यानी इंश्योरेंस रेगुलेटरी ऐंड डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी ऑफ़ इंडिया ने हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पॉलिसी ख़रीदने के लिए उम्र सीमा यानी कि एज लिमिट ख़त्म कर दी है. जिसका सबसे बड़ा फ़ायदा 65 साल से अधिक उम्र को बुज़ुर्गों को होगा, जो अब हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पॉलिसी ख़रीद सकेंगे. इससे पहले ये नियम था कि 65 वर्ष से अधिक उम्र के बुज़ुर्ग हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पॉलिसी नहीं ख़रीद सकते थे.

Now every person in the country can buy a health insurance policy, no matter what age he is. IRDAI i.e. Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has abolished the age limit for purchasing a health insurance policy. The biggest benefit of which will be to the elderly above 65 years of age, who will now be able to buy a health insurance policy. Earlier there was a rule that elderly people above 65 years of age could not buy a health insurance policy.
