बस्ती जिले में निकिता नाम की एक लड़की ने घर में बंदरों के घुसने पर एलेक्सा डिवाइस की मदद से अपनी छोटी बहन और खुद को बचाया। निकिता कहती हैं, "हमारे घर पर कुछ मेहमान आए और उन्होंने गेट खुला छोड़ दिया। बंदर रसोई में घुस गए और सामान इधर-उधर फेंकने लगे। बच्चा डरा हुआ था और मैं भी लेकिन फिर मैंने एलेक्सा को देखा और उससे आवाज बजाने के लिए कहा।" एक कुत्ते की भौंकने की आवाज़ से बंदर डर गये और भाग गये।”
