विधानसभा उपचुनाव में कांग्रेस द्वारा दो विधानसभा सीटें जीतने के बाद हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा, "हिमाचल की जनता ने हमें 2022 में 40 सीटें दी हैं। पिछले दिनों राज्य की राजनीति में जिस तरह की खरीद-फरोख्त हुई, उसका लोगों ने मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया है। इससे यह भी संदेश गया कि राज्य की जनता जागरूक है और इस तरह की खरीद-फरोख्त नहीं चलेगी।

After the Congress won two assembly seats in the assembly by-elections, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, "The people of Himachal have given us 40 seats in 2022. The people have given a befitting reply to the kind of horse-trading that took place in the state politics in the recent past. This also sent a message that the people of the state are aware and such horse-trading will not work.
