Monica Helms created the iconic transgender flag, with its blue, pink and white stripes, in 1999. Helms, a transgender activist and U.S. navy veteran, is marking the flag's 25th anniversary with a Canadian tour, hoping to bring visibility to trans issues. CBC News caught up with her on a tour stop in Edmonton.
