Shanghai residents woke up on Friday to a thick blanket of fog covering China's financial hub, causing major landmarks to become almost invisible. The authorities issued a yellow alert for the fog and temporarily suspended several ferry routes. Some sections of highways and a bridge to a container port were also temporarily closed due to poor visibility. #shanghai
