Minimum wage workers in six provinces are getting a raise starting today, but in many regions, there's a wide gap between the minimum wage and the living wage.
In Saskatchewan, for example, the minimum wage in the province will increase to $14 per hour as of Oct. 1, but some organizations say that’s not enough to combat increasing poverty.
