In Afghanistan, at least seven people were killed by two explosions a couple of kilometres apart in the capital Kabul.
Many living in the targeted neighbourhood are from the Hazara ethnic community, a predominately Shia minority in a largely Sunni society.
Armed groups linked to ISIL (ISIS) have declared war against them.
