Serena Williams' retirement is still on hold after she won her second straight match at the US Open.
The 40-year-old is expected to hang up her racket at the end of the tournament but she was too good for world number two Annet Kontaveit. Williams eliminated Kontaveit in the US Open’s second round on Wednesday to ensure she will play at least one more singles match.
