With winter in full swing and the holidays on the horizon, many seniors may be feeling isolated. According to the Saskatchewan Blue Cross, roughly 50 per cent of people over the age of 80 report feeling lonely.
A group of seniors in Canada is trying to buck that trend by keeping their social lives in tiptop shape.
For the seniors at the centre, they say they know they will have friends waiting for them in the new year.
