Select Committee considers the Tobacco and Vapes Bill

The UK government wants to stop the start of addiction to tobacco products and vape, bringing forward the following legislation to create the first ever 'smokefree generation'.

The government hopes the Tobacco and Vapes Bill will:

1. Create the first ever 'smokefree generation'
2. Reduce the appeal and availability of vaping products
3. Strengthen enforcement of underage sales of tobacco and vapes
