Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has outlined a five-tier system of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus which will come into force next month - with the highest level closer to the lockdown imposed across the UK in March. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Much of Scotland is already under a high level of restrictions which have forced restaurants and bars to close.

Tonight, this programme reports allegations that some hospitality venues initially refused to furlough all of their workers, potentially leaving some on dramatically reduced pay.

We're joined by Sir David King, who was chief scientific advisor to the government until 2008 and chairs the independent Sage group.
