SBI Chief Expects Repo Rates To Go Up By 75 Basis Points

SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara while speaking to NDTV's Vishnu Som on the sidelines of World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, said that there is a lot of positive environment for India and the Government is responsive towards challenges of inflation. He said that though the common man has been hit due to rise in home loan rates, SBI is offering higher interest rates to senior and super senior citizens. He however said that there may be a further rise of 75 basis points in repo rates.
