राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (आरजेडी) के अध्यक्ष लालू प्रसाद ने शुक्रवार को बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री और जेडीयू प्रमुख नीतीश कुमार से उनके आवास पर मुलाकात की. इस मौके पर लालू प्रसाद के बेटे और उपमुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव भी उनके साथ थे. बैठक के बाद अपने आवास लौटे तेजस्वी यादव ने संवाददाताओं से कहा कि दरार की अफवाहें ‘‘जमीनी हकीकत’’ से अलग हैं.उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, ‘‘मुझे दुख होता है जब आप लोग ऐसे सवाल पूछते हैं जो जमीनी हकीकत से बिल्कुल अलग होते हैं. आखिर इस बात को लेकर इतनी उत्सुकता क्यों है कि महागठबंधन में सीटों का बंटवारा कब अंतिम रूप ले सकता है? क्या बीजेपी के नेतृत्व वाले एनडीए ने इसे अपने खेमे में सुलझा लिया है? ’’माना जा रहा है कि महागठबंधन में शामिल जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) के नेता सीट-बंटवारे को लेकर तेजी से फैसला किए जाने पर जोर डाल रहे हैं. हालांकि, कुछ दिन पहले ही लालू ने इन दावों को खारिज कर दिया था.अटकलें लगाई जा रही हैं कि राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (एनडीए) के सहयोगी के रूप में 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में 16 सीटें जीतने वाला जेडीयू इस बार कम संख्या पर सहमत नहीं होगा, जबकि 2019 में एक भी सीट नहीं जीत पाने वाला आरजेडी विधानसभा में अपनी बेहतर संख्या बल का हवाला देते हुए अधिक सीटें मांगेगा.केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने अपने एक हालिया साक्षात्कार में संकेत दिया है कि जेडीयू प्रमुख के लिए एनडीए के दरवाजे बंद नहीं हैं. अमित शाह के बयान से जुड़े सवाल पर तेजस्वी ने चुटली लेते हुए कहा, ‘‘मुझे नहीं पता. हो सकता है कि आप लोगों को बेहतर जानकारी हो कि अमित शाह क्या कहना चाहते थे.’’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘हम एक ऐसी सरकार चला रहे हैं जो लोगों के लिए काम करने के एजेंडे से भटकेगी नहीं. आरजेडी और जेडीयू मजबूती से एक साथ हैं और बीजेपी को हराने के लिए लोकसभा चुनाव मिलकर लड़ेंगे.’’
