राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान संस्थान और प्रशिक्षण परिषद यानी NCERT की किताबों में अब INDIA नाम की जगह भारत लिखा जाएगा. सूत्रों का दावा है कि किताबों में आवश्यक परिवर्तनों को लेकर बने पैनल के प्रस्ताव को एनसीईआरटी ने मंजूरी दे दी है. पैनल के सदस्यों में से एक सीआई इसाक ने कहा, यह प्रस्ताव कुछ महीने पहले ही रखा गया था और अब इसे स्वीकार कर लिया गया है.

एनसीईआरटी पैनल की सिफारिश उस वक्त की गई है, जब सियासी हलको में INDIA नाम को बदलकर भारत रखने पर राजनीतिक चर्चाएं जोरों पर हैं. INDIA से बदलकर भारत नाम रखे जाने की सुगबुगाहट बीते महीने सितंबर में तब शुरू हुई जब जी20 के आयोजन के दौरान भारत की राष्ट्रपति के नाम से भेजे गए निमंत्रण पत्र में 'प्रेसिडेंट ऑफ इंडिया' की बजाए 'प्रेसिडेंट ऑफ भारत' लिखा गया था.
Now Bharat will be written instead of INDIA in the books of National Council of Educational Research and Training i.e. NCERT. Sources claim that NCERT has approved the proposal of the panel regarding necessary changes in the books. CI Isaac, one of the panel members, said, this proposal was put forward a few months ago and now it has been accepted. The NCERT panel's recommendation has come at a time when there is talk in political circles about changing the name India to Bharat. Political discussions are in full swing. The rumor of changing the name from INDIA to Bharat started in September last month when during the G20 event, 'President of India' was written instead of 'President of India' in the invitation letter sent in the name of the President of India.
