Dera Sacha Sauda chief and rape case convict Ram Rahim Singh came out of Sunaria jail located in Rohtak district of Haryana on Tuesday (21 November) after getting 21 days' furlough. This is his third temporary release from jail this year. He came out of jail at around two in the afternoon. After this, he reached Barnawa Ashram in UP amidst tight security arrangements. Daughter Honeypreet also arrived with Ram Rahim. The headquarters of Dera Sacha Sauda is in Sirsa, Haryana. Singh had applied for furlough. He is serving a 20-year prison sentence for raping two of his female students. Meanwhile, Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed strong objection to the Haryana government's move to grant 21-day furlough to the Dera chief and said that he is serving a sentence for heinous crimes like rape and murder. Dhami said that this is promoting an atmosphere of distrust among the Sikh community. He also said that the Dera chief is being repeatedly given temporary release from jail, but the governments are not listening to the voice raised by the Sikh community for the release of 'Bandi Singh' (Sikh prisoners).
डेरा सच्चा सौदा प्रमुख और रेप मामले में दोषी राम रहीम सिंह 21 दिन की ‘फरलो’ (छुट्टी) मिलने के बाद मंगलवार (21 नवंबर) को हरियाणा के रोहतक जिले में स्थित सुनारिया जेल से बाहर आया. इस साल यह जेल से उसकी तीसरी अस्थायी रिहाई है. वह दोपहर करीब दो बजे जेल से बाहर आया. इसके बाद वह कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के बीच वह यूपी के बरनावा आश्रम पहुंचा. राम रहीम के साथ मुंह बोली बेटी हनीप्रीत भी पहुंचीं.डेरा सच्चा सौदा का मुख्यालय हरियाणा के सिरसा में है. सिंह ने फरलो के लिए आवेदन किया था. वह अपनी दो शिष्या से रेप के लिए 20 साल के कारावास की सजा काट रहा है. इस बीच, शिरोमणि गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी के अध्यक्ष हरजिंदर सिंह धामी ने डेरा प्रमुख को 21 दिन का फरलो देने के हरियाणा सरकार के कदम पर कड़ी आपत्ति जताई है और कहा है कि वह रेप और हत्या जैसे जघन्य अपराधों के लिए सजा काट रहा है. धामी ने कहा कि इससे सिख समुदाय के बीच अविश्वास के माहौल को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है. उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि डेरा प्रमुख को बार-बार जेल से अस्थायी रिहाई दी जा रही है, लेकिन सरकारें 'बंदी सिंह' (सिख कैदियों) की रिहाई के लिए सिख समुदाय द्वारा उठाई गई आवाज नहीं सुन रही हैं.
