संसद के मानसून सत्र के दौरान लोकसभा में मीडिया पोर्टल न्यूज क्लिक (News Click) का मुद्दा उठाया गया. भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) सांसद निशिकांत दुबे ने आरोप लगाया कि न्यूज क्लिक को चीन से फंडिंग मिल रही है और ये पोर्टल देश विरोधी है. उन्होंने कहा कि ये वेबसाइट चीन से फंड लेकर देश में सरकार के खिलाफ माहौल बनाती है.बीजेपी सांसद ने इस मुद्दे पर कांग्रेस पार्टी को भी निशाने पर लिया और उसके नेताओं पर चीन के साथ मिलकर देश और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के खिलाफ माहौल बनाना का आरोप लगाया. इस दौरान संसद में जमकर हंगामा हुआ और कार्यवाही को स्थगित करना पड़ा.उन्होंने दावा किया है कि न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स अखबार की एक खबर में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) के छापों के हवाले से खुलासा किया गया है कि न्यूज क्लिक को भारत के खिलाफ माहौल बनाने के लिए चीन से किस तरह पैसे मिले और वह धन किस तरह नक्सलियों और अन्य लोगों को पहुंचाया गया. वहीं, कांग्रेस सांसद अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने इस बयान को कार्यवाही से हटाने की मांग की है.
