Italian judge rules right-wing leader must face trial for blocking arrival of migrants.
Kidnapping charges relate to Salvini's 2019 move to block arrival of stranded migrants, he blocked more than 100 migrants who were stranded at sea from landing in Italy, more than 100 migrants were left stranded aboard an Italian coastguard ship for six days.
Magistrates argue that Salvini 'kidnapped' the migrants by not allowing them to disembark.
