Sahel's Great Green Wall: Communities say project to plant trees is failing

As the seas rise around Bangladesh, countries in Africa face the challenge of spreading deserts.
The Great Green Wall initiative aims to plant trees from West to East Africa to slow the expansion of the Sahara Desert.
The World Bank, the European Union, and countries, including France, with higher carbon footprints, have pledged $14bn to make that happen.
But communities affected by the growing desert in Senegal say the project is failing.
