Hyppolite Ntigurirwa, a survivor of the Rwandan genocide, has shared their story marking 29 years since over 800,000 people were killed in one of the worst massacres since the Second World War.

They remembered that "when I was seven years old, I had to run from the killers who were neighbours" whilst living as "a wild animal" and feeling like a "slave for the killers".
