People in Russia do not want the war with Ukraine to escalate, a Russian journalist told NDTV. "People (in Russia) don't want escalation. In Russia, we wake up every day, expecting an escalation - some are worried about nuclear attacks. We don't feel like the war is far away from us," said independent Russian journalist Ksenia Kondratieva.
