Russia's ministry of defence says gunmen have killed 11 people at a training site for the military. The attack happened in the Belgorod region of Russia, which borders on Ukraine. The two shooters opened fire during a training session for volunteers preparing to be deployed to Ukraine. They were also killed in the attack.
Despite the ongoing war , some Ukrainians are returning to their homes in the east of the country as Ukrainian forces make gains on the battlefield. Mathias Bölinger was on the first train in six months to the city of Kramatorsk, which is located in the Donbas region.
