Russia-Ukraine conflict continued to increase as both countries are not ready to take a step back. In reaction to Russia's military buildup near Ukraine's borders, NATO announced on Monday that it was putting forces on alert and bolstering eastern Europe with extra ships and fighter jets. The move is the latest in a string of signs that the West is ready for a Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite Moscow's denials. However, the United States also seemed to have distanced itself from the matter.
