Russia, Iran defiant amid UN pressure over Ukraine drones

Russia and Iran have insisted the United Nations has no mandate to inspect ‘kamikaze’ drones used in Ukraine, amid accusations they came from Tehran.
The United States, United Kingdom and France have raised the issue of alleged Iranian arms sales to Russia at the UN Security Council.
Ukraine accuses Moscow of using Iranian drones to carry out raids, but Iran denies selling the weapons, and Russia denies using them.
