US President Joe Biden has a new Democratic challenger vying for the presidency: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has thrown his hat into the ring to become the Democratic nominee in the 2024 election.

Kennedy is the nephew of President John F. Kennedy and son of Attorney general Robert F. Kennedy, who were both assasinated. He is a controversial figure. In recent years he has become a leading figure in the anti-vaccination movement.
