In Africa, images of magnetised arms after getting the jab are circulating. False information like this might be one reason why expecting mothers don't get innoculated. In Europe and America, many expectant mothers are also reluctant to get the jab.
Just 6-months ago, UK health authorities advised against taking the shots, due to lack of safety data. But that has changed, with positive results recorded from tens-of-thousands of women in places like the US and elsewhere. Now that more expectant mothers are getting seriously ill with coronavirus infections, UK authorities and moms who survived the virus are urging pregnant women to reconsider the shots.
