Ride-share app wants to give drivers 100% of their fares

Hovr, a new Toronto-based ridesharing app, will let drivers keep 100 per cent of their fares rather than take a percentage of the fare on every trip like Uber and Lyft do. Hovr instead will charge drivers a $20 monthly membership fee to work for the service — an introductory rate that CEO Harrison Amit says will rise as the business grows.
