A firefighter reunited a dog with its emotional owner following a house fire that claimed the lives of several pets in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Wednesday.

The Chattanooga Fire Department said they had to revive the dog before returning it to its grateful owner.

While a search found a number of deceased pets according to local media, no person was hurt in the fire and the cause was being investigated, the fire department said.
