मध्य प्रदेश की सत्ता में वापस आने के लिए कांग्रेस विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले खूब जनसभाएं कर रही है. पार्टी के सीनियर नेता लोगों से वोट की अपील कर रहे हैं. इसी कड़ी में शनिवार (30 सितंबर) को राहुल गांधी मध्य प्रदेश के शाजापुर में एक रैली में पहुंचे. यहां उन्होंने केंद्र की मोदी सरकार और प्रदेश की शिवराज सरकार पर जमकर हमला किया.

उन्होंने कहा, "यह विचारधारा की लड़ाई है. एक तरफ गांधी तो दूसरी तरफ गोडसे हैं. एक तरफ नफरत, हिंसा और अहंकार है तो दूसरी तरफ मोहब्बत और भाईचारा है. उन्होंने इस दौरान मीडिया की भी चुटकी ली. उन्होंने कहा कि प्रेस वाले हमारी मीटिंग नहीं दिखाएंगे."

On one side there is hatred, violence and ego and on the other side there is love and brotherhood. During this he also took a dig at the media.
