Nearly 5,000 people have now been forced from their homes in British Columbia's interior, as aggressive wildfires continue to worsen, devastating communities and creating apocalyptic scenes across the region.
Fires have also spilled over into key highways connecting the region to Vancouver, shutting them down, and extending two-hour trips to take about a day.
As Robin Gill reports, the situation remains extremely volatile and residents remain on the run, even as cooler conditions move in to provide some relief.
