Farewell to the queen: The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place in London's Westminster Abbey on Sept. 19 starting at 10:00 AM GMT / 6:00 am ET, with our live special starting an hour before.

From world leaders and their delegations to the Royal family, the service for the 96-year-old British monarch is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of people to the city.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, will attend and be accompanied by Gov. Gen. Mary Simon and her husband, Whit Fraser, along with former governors general Michaëlle Jean and David Johnston.
