U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday called Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal once again, but went one step further in saying that he would call for a war crimes trial against the Russian president, as worldwide outrage continues to grow over civilian killings in Bucha, Ukraine.

"This guy is brutal, and what's happening in Bucha is outrageous," he said.
Asked if he would add more sanctions on Russia in response, Biden said he would be seeking more and would announce that in the near future, stressing Putin must be held accountable.

As Ukrainian forces recaptured towns from Russian troops across the country, it discovered the bodies of what appear to be civilians, some who have been killed at close range. The deputy mayor of Bucha, Taras Shapravskyi, said 50 of some 300 bodies found were victims of extra-judicial killings carried out by Russians. The Kremlin has rejected those accusations as lies and misinformation.
