There have been a series of antigovernment demonstrations across Bangladesh in recent months.
The main opposition party is leading calls for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to resign, accusing her government of failing to curb price increases and stifling dissent.
And now, a growing number of people with no previous political links are joining the protests.
