Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Manila, Philippines, to demand higher wages and more rights for women on International Women's Day.  

A Filipino women's rights group said seven in 10 Filipinos, mostly women, are being driven into informal and unstable work, and that violence against women has seen a dramatic rise.
