Police tackled and detained a protester running towards French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday, as he arrived at the University of Amsterdam science campus. This is the second time the president has been targeted by protesters, as anger against an unpopular pension reform in France followed Macron during his two-day state visit to the Netherlands.
