Prosecutor drops criminal charges against golfer Scottie Scheffler

Criminal charges against Scottie Scheffler will be dismissed, ending a legal saga that began with the U.S. golfer's arrest earlier in May during the PGA Championship. Scheffler was charged with a felony for assaulting a police officer with his vehicle, as well as three misdemeanours. The prosecutor said the findings of his office's review of the case led him to request that the charges be dismissed.
